On November 24, 2023, the first award ceremony for the Executive Master S.He goes digital took place in the virtual presence of Petra De Sutter, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Civil Service, Public Enterprises, Telecommunications and the Post Office, and Jan Danckaert, Rector of the VUB.

This event is of key importance in the joint efforts of ULB, via its Continuing Education for Technology and Science (TechSci), in collaboration with the VUB, Febelfin and Agoria. Initiated to meet the major challenges of finding IT talent and promoting diversity in this strategic sector, the program successfully trained some twenty participants, the majority of whom were women. It is an initiative designed to meet the major challenges of finding talent in IT and promoting diversity in this strategic sector.

The program aims to address the dual challenge of the shortage of IT graduates and the lack of diversity in the sector. Currently, only 3% of these graduates are women, and other facets of diversity are also under-represented.

The aim of the program is to offer young graduates with master's degrees in disciplines outside the STEM field, particularly women, the opportunity to immerse themselves in "IT culture" by taking an additional academic year. This academic path opens the door to numerous job opportunities in the information and communication technologies sector, a fast-growing sector in Belgium.
