Presenting as much interest for the abstract as the concrete, the civil electrician engineer is able to dialogue with specialists from all backgrounds to translate the issues that arise for him / her and design intelligent devices who answer them. Crowd monitoring during major events, instrumentation and control in medical or industrial robotics, precision agriculture by drones and on-board systems: the civil electrician engineer can optimize/supervise operations and save resources.

To reach such a level, he/she has strong skills in real-time systems, automation, instrumentation, physics, electronics, multimedia, telecommunications, on-board computing and signal processing.

Programme

The Master's program is structured around three main themes: electronics, information technologies (telecommunications) and automation. From BA3, a large-scale project allows students to understand the different disciplines and to make the link between them. The first year offers the choice between a personal project in the field of electronics and telecommunications or in another theme (development cooperation, team leader project, etc.). Each theoretical course is also associated with scenarios and case studies. The second year aims in particular to bring the student closer to the world of work through a 12-week internship, which can be extended if it is combined with the completion of his thesis.

Thanks to their mastery of electronics, telecommunications, automation and the software and hardware aspects of IT, civil engineers are electrical engineers. "All-terrain" par excellence!

They will therefore find vast career opportunities in design offices, in industry, in public services, in research and higher education, in the service sector. While there are many opportunities in companies in the telecommunications, process automation, computerized management, electronics and micro-electronics sectors, most companies in other sectors (chemical industries, transport, aeronautics, etc. ..) also have a growing need for engineers skilled in electronics and information technology.
